Pray for the chains of injustice to be broken in this city

Father God, you are faithful and just. We pray that your justice would reign in this city and in our lives. We pray that all people would be treated with love and compassion, dignity and fairness. We stand against corruption and deceit and ask that integrity and truth would overcome in every situation. Embolden us to do what is right and encourage us to stand up for those in need of justice. We ask that in this way, your Kingdom would come to earth, as it is in heaven. Amen.

Isaiah 58:6 - Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
