Pray for Jesus’ light to shine brightly in this city

Heavenly Father, we lift your Holy Name and give you praise. You are the Light of the world (Matt 5:14). We ask that your light would shine brightly over this city, into the darkest of places and hearts. May there be repentance from wrongdoing and a desire to do what is right. We pray that people would turn towards you and onto a path of truth and love. We ask that you would light our way and help us to shine brightly for you. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen. 

Isaiah 58:8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.
