Pray for a repentant city

Our Father in heaven, let Your name remain holy in this city. Bring about your kingdom. We have all sinned and all our futile attempts to reconcile with you fail. Thank you for sending Jesus to stand in the gap for us, sinless. Through His sacrificial death our sins, and the sins of our whole city, were atoned. Help us God to humbly pray, follow your commands, repent and abandon any actions or thoughts that might lead to further sinning. Thank you that you hear our prayers, forgive our sins and are healing our city. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. 

2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
