Pray for peace and prosperity in our city

 Father God, we come to you with thankfulness and gratitude that you have created the beautiful city that we live in. We ask for your protection and peace to reign in our streets, homes, and hearts. We pray that good things will happen in our city, and it becomes stronger and safe, and will not be ridden with crime. We pray for peace and protection for everyone in the city, guarding against harm and discord.  We ask for spiritual awakening and for people in our city to come to know you. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. 

Jeremiah 29:7 (NIV) And seek the peace of the city to which I have carried you … Pray to the LORD for it.
