Thank you for volunteering to help make Macquarie Life Church a wonderful experience for everyone. The following page will provide simple training and resources to help you in your role.

Basic Induction
We are committed to church safety, and with many policies and procedures to follow. Here are a few things you need to know:
At Macquarie we respect and value all people, irrespective of gender, age, culture socio-economic background or ability.
We have policies and procedures for taking care of children and vulnerable people.
We have a culture of transparency and ask that conversations with a young person must be had in an open public space and that adults are not left alone with our kids.
If you have any concerns about the safety of a child, or anyone please report it to one of our leaders. I you are concerned about someones behaviour towards a young person, please let us know about that too.
You are responsible for your own health and safety, and caring for the safety of those around you.

Your leaders will instruct you in the event of an emergency. Emergency assembly areas are located in each carpark.
